Tree of Life Pendant~Decorated with foliage and trinity knots, this design was inspired by carvings from decorated columns in the Abbey, thought to depict the 'Tree of Life'. The Tree of Life was probably originally a pagan symbol, later adapted by Christianity to represent the seven beings of created life. The pendant measures 2" in diameter and comes on a heavy weight silver chain 20" long or on a 16" silver cable.~~Tree of Life Pendant on Chain|IP01|Tree of Life Pendant on Cable|IP01c|~706~707~~

Interlaced Birds Trio Pendant~Zoomorphics or animal forms are found in many examples of Pictish and Celtic art. The Picts used a wide variety of symbols from abstract designs and animals to more recognisable serpent, fish and bird forms. Indeed there are many similarities to designs found in the illuminated manuscript, the Book of Kells, thought to have been started by Iona monks around the 8th century. Birds are thought to symbolise flight between this world and the next, and on this piece they are entwined with knotwork, a symbol of eternity. Each piece measures ¾" in diameter and comes on a medium weight silver chain, 16" long.~~Interlaced Birds Trio Pendant|IP12|~706~718~~
