The galley designs are taken from the medieval grave slabs of the Clan Chiefs, found in the Reilig Odhrain. It was believed that the galley carried the Clan Chief's soul to 'Tir-nan-Og', the land of eternal youth. This galley is likely to have been based on the Macdonald Lord of the Isles galley. Our earrings are sterling silver with hook style fittings.
